• DealUp to 45% Off - NIU Deals

As of October 2026, NIU is running a Halloween "Spooky Savings" sale with up to 68% off, scooters starting at $199 and a site banner promising savings of up to $850 on scooters. The steepest cuts are on the e-bikes: the BQi-C3 Pro and BQi Fat Tire 300 Step Over are $799, down from $2,499. Among scooters, the KQi Air is $809.10 (from $1,499), the KQi 300X is $899 (from $1,299) and the KQi1 Pro is $199 (from $349). The KQi 200 series is tagged as a Flash Sale. No end date is shown for any of these offers, so a price you see today may not last.

The next big shopping dates are Black Friday on November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday on November 30, 2026. NIU hasn't announced anything for those dates on its site yet. If the model you want is already at a price you're happy with, keep in mind that some versions, like the BQi Fat Tire 300 Step Through, are already sold out.

• Shop the Halloween sale: up to 68% off as of October 2026, with prices from $199 and e-bikes at $799 (regularly $2,499).
• Check the Flash Sale tag: the KQi 200P is $549 (from $649) and the KQi 200F is $569 (from $799).
• Free mystery gift: the KQi 300X page says adding it to your cart unlocks a free mystery gift.
• Student discount: students get an extra 5% off e-scooters and e-bikes over $379. You verify through a supported university portal login or by entering your official university email at checkout to get a code.
• Free shipping: there's no minimum order for free delivery to the lower 48 states.
• Klarna: you can buy now and pay later through Klarna. This spreads the payment but doesn't lower the price.
• Newsletter: signing up gets you exclusive offers and news. The site doesn't promise a specific signup discount.

1. Add your scooter or e-bike to the cart on shop.niu.com.
2. If you're a student, verify with your university portal login or your official university email to receive your 5% code.
3. Go to checkout and find the discount code field.
4. Enter the code and apply it. Check that the discount appears in the order summary before you pay.
5. Finish paying by card, PayPal, Shop Pay or Klarna.

One caveat: the student discount only applies to scooters and e-bikes over $379, so it won't work on the KQi1 Pro at its $199 sale price or on accessories. The site doesn't say whether codes can be combined with sale prices.

• Keep returns cheap. NIU's return policy page says it covers return shipping on change-of-mind returns made within 30 days of receiving the scooter with 10 miles or less on the odometer. Other returns ship at your cost. The FAQ and the shorter refund policy say change-of-mind buyers pay return shipping, so confirm with support before you send anything back.
• Don't ride it far before you decide. Riding more than 10 miles takes a change-of-mind return off the table.
• Keep the box. Returns need the original packaging, tags and proof of purchase, and the FAQ says to keep the box for at least 30 days.
• Get approval first. Email Global-Service@niu.com with your order number. NIU won't accept a return it hasn't authorized, and it isn't responsible for lost return packages, so use tracking.
• Check bundle refunds. If you return part of a bundle, you get that item's discounted share of the bundle price, not its full price.
• Cancel quickly if you change your mind. Once an order is processed, the FAQ says NIU can't cancel it.
• Inspect on arrival. The FAQ says scratches you find when unpacking are covered, but scratches from use are not.
