Both INNOVV dash cams record front and rear, both are IP67 waterproof, and both come from the same store with the same 2-year warranty. So why does the K7 cost about $100 more than the K6? We read INNOVV's own product pages, spec tables and return policy on November 1, 2026 to find out. INNOVV K7 vs K6 comes down to three things: video quality on the rear camera, GPS, and how much wiring you want to do.
Below: the quick answer, a side-by-side table, what you actually get for the extra money, and what a return would cost.
The quick answer
- Black Friday price on innovv.com: the K7 is $329.80 (listed at $388, 15% off) and the K6 is $230.40 (listed at $288, 20% off). INNOVV switched its sale to Black Friday on the evening of November 1, U.S. time; the K7 was $349.20 and the K6 $259.20 earlier that day.
- Choose the K7 if you want 2K on both cameras, a built-in GPS track with speed on the video, a handlebar remote, and memory cards up to 512GB. It is wired to the bike's 9-16V power and switches on with the ignition.
- Choose the K6 if you want the easiest install: the recorder sits inside the front camera, and it runs from USB or the motorcycle battery. The rear camera is 1080P, there is no GPS, and cards top out at 256GB.
- Want blind-spot radar too? INNOVV's RC6 BikeGuard combines a dash cam with 77 GHz radar for $366.40 (listed at $458, 20% off).
Our short version: the K7 is the better evidence recorder; the K6 is the better choice if you would rather not open up the bike's wiring.

Power | 9-16V, ignition wire | USB or battery |

Both carry an IP67 rating and both use a Sony STARVIS IMX335 sensor in the front camera. The K7 adds a G-sensor that locks a clip after an impact.
What the extra $99 buys on the K7
A sharper rear camera. The K7 records 2K front and rear. The K6's rear camera is 1080P. If you are mostly worried about being hit from behind, the plate of the car behind you is what matters, and that is where the K7 has the edge.
GPS on every clip. The K7 ships with a 10Hz GPS module. INNOVV says recordings can show speed, date and GPS data, and you can export the route as a GPX track. The K6 has no GPS at all; one K6 buyer on INNOVV's own review page mentions missing it.
Parking mode built for long stops. INNOVV lists 24-hour parking surveillance on the K7 with a low-power standby to protect the battery. It is wired to the ignition (ACC) wire, so it powers on and off with the bike.
More in the box. The K7 package lists the recorder, front and rear cameras, a handlebar remote, a microphone and the GPS module. The remote lets you lock a clip or take a photo without reaching for the recorder.
Bigger cards and faster Wi-Fi. Up to 512GB, and dual-band Wi-Fi for downloading clips to the app.
Why the K6 still makes sense
It is the easier install. INNOVV calls the K6 plug-and-play. There is no separate recorder box to hide: the recorder is built into the front camera. You can power it from a USB port or a USB power bank, or hardwire it to the battery later.
It is $99.40 cheaper, and the bundle with a 256GB Samsung card is $329.40, still less than the K7 with a card ($472 for the K7 with lens guard and 256GB card).
It still covers the basics: 2K front video, a rear camera, IP67, H.265 video files, and the same 2-year warranty.
The trade-off is the 1080P rear camera, no GPS, and a 256GB card limit.
Bundles: what each option costs
Bundle | K7 | K6 |
|---|---|---|
Camera only | $329.80 | $230.40 |
With 256GB card | $472* | $329.40 |
Top bundle | $527 (512GB) | $368.38 |
*K7 bundle also includes a lens guard. All prices are INNOVV's own Black Friday prices, read on November 1, 2026. INNOVV lists the K7 regular price at $388 and the K6 at $288.
What a return costs at INNOVV
INNOVV gives you 30 days from delivery to request a return. The fine print matters for a dash cam, because you have to open it and wire it to test it:
- Opened but unused: INNOVV may charge a 5% handling fee. On a $329.80 K7, that is about $16.
- Used: a 5% to 15% depreciation fee may apply, depending on condition. That is up to about $49 on a K7 or $35 on a K6.
- The original shipping fee isn't refunded. Shipping is free on all orders, so for most buyers this costs nothing extra.
INNOVV also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee for defects and a 2-year warranty on official purchases. Full store notes: INNOVV deals, shipping and returns.
Is this the INNOVV Black Friday deal?
Yes. INNOVV's deal page now reads "Everything 15%–50% OFF for Black Friday". The K7 is 15% off and the K6 and RC6 are 20% off, down from 10% to 16% off in the sale that ran before. Orders of $1,500 or more get an extra 15% off at checkout, which can't be combined with other offers. A countdown on the page points to November 28. INNOVV doesn't say whether prices drop again on Black Friday itself (November 27), so if you want the camera now, this is the lowest price we've seen on INNOVV's store since we started checking on October 26. We add real Black Friday prices to our Black Friday deals page only after we check them on the store.

- Plan where the recorder goes. The K7's box is 80.5 x 56 x 15 mm.
- Buy a high-endurance microSD card, or pick the bundle with one.
- Keep the box until you've tested the install, in case you need to return it.
